My journey began with an unshakeable passion for dance and desire to teach.
Studied at the Joee Shapiro
School of Dance under the direction of Joee Shapiro and Maggie Dickey in Houston.
Began performing professionally
at 15 years old.
Continued dance traininig
at renowned dance studios across the country, including Houston Ballet Academy, EDGE Performing Arts Center (LA), Millenium Dance Complex (LA), and Broadway Dance Center (NYC).
Years of faithful dedication to dance
Ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, and lyrical.
Began teaching dance in Dallas
working alongside Kurt and Beckie Thomas at their elite gymnastics training facility teaching ballet.
Became head of the hip-hop department at Preston Center Dance
one of the most prestigious dance studios in Dallas.
Danced professionally with the NBA

Performed professionally
in many industrial projects for DIFFA (Designs Industries Foundation Fighting for AIDS), Zales Jewelry (Gibb Productions), Mary Kay Cosmetics (Larr Productions), Sally Beauty Supply (Larr Productions), Macy’s (PCD, Inc.), Foley’s (PCD, Inc.), and JC Penney.
Relocated to Los Angeles California
represented by the prestigious DDO Artists Agency and worked with television networks (MTV, FOX, and MnR Productions).

Continued with teaching career
directing jazz companies, Dance Asylum and D-Gen at Malibu Performing Arts Center in Malibu, CA.
Toured throughout the United States
as a permanent adjudicator for multiple dance competition circuits including Hall of Fame Dance Challenge and taught around the country as a dance educator with Dance Masters of America (DMA).
Attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC
graduated with a certification in Holistic Nutrition and Health Coaching.

Relocated to Texas in 2014
along with husband, David, and daughter, Liberty. The family has grown to include Great Dane named Avett, a Dachshund/Terrier named Ozzie, horses Tiny and Breeze, cats Feather, Shadow, Trigger, and Myrtle, and 6 chickens.
